Single-ply material is a great solution, particularly for flat roofs. There are two basic types of single-ply membranes made to suit both the budgets and the building needs of commercial OR home needs:
(Thermoplastic Polyolefin) is composed of a layer of a single-ply membrane composed of synthetic components along with a fabric reinforcing scrim that stabilizes and strengthens the membrane for improved and increased performance.
For residential or industrial use, TPO is now available in colors, while originally it was only white.
(Ethylene Propylene Diene Terpolymer) is a very durable synthetic rubber (ethylene and propylene, from oil and natural gas) roofing membrane primarily used in low-slope buildings in the United States and worldwide. Its two primary ingredients.
(polyvinyl chloride) is still being installed but due to its tendency to be negatively affected by chemicals and other environmental substances, it is not nearly as popular
